Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of Bradford Council for experienced Child & Family Social Workers to join the South Children & Families Locality Team . Working within a supportive and collaborative service, you'll deliver high-quality, restorative and relationship-based social work that helps children remain safe, supported and able to achieve their full potential.
The Role As a Child & Family Social Worker, you will manage a varied statutory caseload, working closely with children, families and partner agencies to deliver effective interventions that improve outcomes. You'll play a key role in safeguarding children, supporting families through difficult circumstances and ensuring children receive the right support at the right time.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a diverse caseload of children and families.
- Complete Child in Need, Child Protection and statutory assessments.
- Undertake safeguarding investigations and interventions.
- Manage Public Law Outline (Pre-Proceedings) cases.
- Progress cases through Care Proceedings where necessary.
- Develop and review child-centred care and support plans.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and partner agencies.
- Deliver restorative and relationship-based social work practice.
- Child in Need (CIN)
- Child Protection (CP)
- Public Law Outline (Pre-Proceedings)
- Care Proceedings
- Safeguarding and risk assessment
- Multi-agency partnership working
- Restorative and relational practice
- Qualified Social Worker (Degree or equivalent)
- Registered with Social Work England
- Experience working within UK Children's Social Care
- Strong assessment, safeguarding and care planning skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
- Salary between £38,220 - £46,142
- £3,000 Retention Payment
