# Senior Mechanical Sweeper Driver## Job Introduction We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Sweeper Driver to join our dedicated team in the Environment-Parks & Street Cleansing. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.
** The main responsibilities of this role:
*** Effective collection of street litter and Detritus in Parks, highways and public areas.
* To drive and operate a Mechanical Sweeper on scheduled routes to sweep pavements and precincts and clean road channels, road surfaces and other hard surfaces.
* Other duties as directed by the Parks & Street Cleansing Manager which are aligned to the other areas of the Street Cleansing operation and may involve driving different types or vehicle or engaging in other manual work.
