Import Freight Forwarding Operator (NVOCC)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours:

08:30am - 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE

• Managing import shipments from origin through to delivery.
• Processing pre-alerts and maintaining shipment files.
• Coordinating deliveries with customers and hauliers.
• Liaising with shipping lines, overseas agents, and customers.
• Ensuring accurate documentation and operational updates.
• Supporting customs clearance processes where required.
• Managing key customer accounts and maintaining excellent service levels.

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Import Freight Forwarding.
• NVOCC experience would be advantageous.
• Customs entry experience beneficial but not essential.
• Sigma system experience would be a bonus.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
