HGV 1 Weekend Driver

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable HGV 1 Weekend Driver to join our team in the logistics, distribution and supply chain industry. This is a weekend position with the option of working more days if you wish. The successful candidate should be available to work one or both days over the weekends.

• Transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated locations
• Adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections
• Ensuring timely and professional communication with the despatch team
• Performing routine vehicle checks and maintenance

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence
• Tacho card
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HGV driver

• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge

The role of an HGV 1 Weekend Driver involves working weekends, often in variable weather conditions, and may require long hours.

Rates of pay based on 2 years experience – £19.00–£24.00 per hour
