HGV (Class 2) Waste Driver Collector

Whilst you will be mainly working within bulks at times you may be called upon to assist in collecting other waste.

• Drive an HGV class2 Bin Wagon, sometimes in challenging environments
• Collect household Waste, recycling, Bulk Waste and garden waste across the district
• Work closely with your team to complete daily routes safely and efficiently
• Handle a range of , containers including wheeled bins, sacks and commercial bins

• Help ensure vehicles and equipment are clean, safe and well maintained
• Deliver a courteous, helpful service to residents and local businesses

This is an active, physical role - you’ll be on your feet and moving throughout the day - and you’ll finish each shift knowing you’ve made a real difference in keeping your community clean, safe and running smoothly.

We’re not just looking for experience - we’re looking for the right attitude. Experience in waste collection or similar outdoor work is helpful, but not essential, as full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be:

• Professional drivers, with strong confident driving skills particularly when reversing.
• Physically fit and happy to work outdoors all year round
• Motivated, reliable, and team-focused with a strong work ethic.
• Reliable, Safety-conscious and Team focused at all times
• Professional and respectful when dealing with members of the public
