We are hiring a reliable and hardworking Class 1 Driver who will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods to designated locations. The role requires compliance with road traffic laws, company procedures, and health & safety regulations, while maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Shift Pattern:
Monday-Friday // Between 4am-7am - Between 5pm-7pm // 55 hours (flexibility on times required)
Salary: £16.25 per hour // overtime rates available Contract Type:
Permanent

• Comply with BRCGS (food and drink) and GDP(medicine) guidelines following training
• Subsequently workingin a responsible manner that complies with and increases product safety and quality
• Safely operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle
• Deliver and collect goods according to planned routes and schedules
• Carryout daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
• Ensureloads are secure and transported safely
• Completedelivery paperwork and digital records accurately
• Comply with EU/UK drivers' hours, tachograph, and Working Time Directive rules
• Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle
• Communicate effectively with transport planners, customers, and depot staff.

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Digital tachograph card
• Good knowledge of road safety and transportregulations
• Willingness to work within a banked hoursarrangement in line with operational requirements.

• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Good geographical knowledge or ability to usenavigation systems
• Physically fit and able to handle manual taskswhere required
