Brook Street Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing logistics business in Bradford to recruit an experienced Transport Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive transport professional to join a busy transport operation, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of deliveries, collections, driver administration and customer communications across the UK and Europe.

9:00- 5:30pm - Salary on offer:
Between £30,000 - £34,000 DOE! - 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

- Managing transport administration and daily operational paperwork
- Updating transport, trailer and fleet tracking spreadsheets
- Processing delivery documentation, PODs and collection notes
- Booking deliveries and collections via phone and email
- Liaising with customers regarding delivery schedules and delays
- Supporting drivers and processing transport documentation at the traffic window
- Communicating with UK and international drivers
- Assisting with second-run planning and transport scheduling
- Supporting planning activities during periods of holiday or absence
- Maintaining driver files, agency driver records and compliance documentation
- Reviewing vehicle defect reports and escalating maintenance requirements
- Processing freight and parcel consignments
- Providing operational support across warehouse and transport functions when required
- Producing transport reports and analysing operational data, including fuel usage
- Working closely with the Transport Manager to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Previous experience working as a Transport Administrator
- Experience with in the road freight, logistics or transport sector
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Strong geographical knowledge of the UK road network
- Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
