BD12 Warehouse Administration Assistant
We are seeking a proactive and organised Warehouse Administration Assistant to support the day‑to‑day operations of a busy warehouse and logistics function. This role combines hands‑on warehouse duties with administrative and logistical coordination responsibilities, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and accurate documentation at all times.
Job Role- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch in line with delivery documentation.
- Checking inbound deliveries against supplier delivery notes and carrying out basic quality checks.
- Allocating and locating stock accurately within the warehouse management system and physical locations.
- Producing and processing logistical documentation including delivery notes, commercial invoices, and Bills of Lading.
- Liaising with couriers and arranging transport bookings, ensuring all loading requirements are met.
- Maintaining accurate records of stock movements and assisting with inventory control.
- Identifying and ordering required warehouse consumables.
- Supporting departmental KPI achievement and meeting operational targets set by management.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the warehouse and surrounding areas.
- Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures.
- Assisting wider operational teams and carrying out any reasonable duties as requested by Senior Management.
- Previous experience within a warehouse, stores or logistics environment.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Numerate and literate with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Counterbalance forklift licence and full UK driving licence desirable.
- Proactive, organised, adaptable and flexible approach to work.
- Salary £26k – £28k depending on experience
- 4% Pension
- 31 Days Annual Leave
- Monday – Friday 8am‑5pm
