Baywater Healthcare – Enhancing Lives!

Location: Bradford Depot (with regular travel to Barnsley & occasional travel to Hull)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 5:00am – 1:30pm

Contract: Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Stores person / Workshop Support Technician to join our Bradford depot on a full-time basis.

This is a hands‑on and varied role where you’ll be responsible for unloading deliveries, managing stock, and coordinating equipment across depots, ensuring our operations run smoothly. You’ll play a critical role in keeping the depot supplied, enabling the wider team to deliver essential services to patients.

Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday: 5:00am – 1:30pm (30‑minute unpaid break)
  • Occasional Saturday working may be required (overtime available)
Key Responsibilities
  • Unloading deliveries at the Bradford depot using a forklift truck (FLT training provided)
  • Loading empty cylinders and equipment onto outgoing vehicles
  • Supporting weekly unloading at Barnsley depot (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
  • As and when required, you may also be called upon to transport or collect equipment from other UK depots
  • Completing all relevant paperwork and maintaining accurate records
  • Carrying out daily FLT safety checks
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse and workshop environment
  • Ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and housekeeping are maintained
About You
  • Is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
  • Can work independently and manage their time effectively
  • Is flexible and willing to travel at short notice when required
  • Has a proactive, “hands‑on” approach to work
  • Is comfortable working in a fast‑paced and physical environment
  • Full UK driving licence (manual vehicles)
  • Basic Maths and English skills
  • Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check
Desirable (but not essential)
  • FLT licence (training will be provided)
  • Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or workshop environment
