Warehouse Section Leader - Bradford
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Section Leader to join our well-established client on a permanent basis based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity offering a salary of up to £37,000 per annum, flexible shift patterns and genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor, Distribution Supervisor, Shift Manager, Logistics Team Leader or Warehouse Operations Supervisor.
ShiftsFlexible shift pattern covering working 40 hours per week :
- 06:00 - 14:00
- 14:00 - 22:00
- 11:00 - 19:00 during off-peak periods
For the right candidate, there may be the opportunity to work a permanent 08:00 - 16:00 shift.
SalaryUp to £37,000 per annum, depending on experience.

As a Warehouse Section Leader, your duties will include:
- Leading, motivating and developing a team within a busy warehouse operation
- Creating a positive, inclusive and high-performing working environment
- Driving team performance to achieve operational targets and customer service levels
- Allocating workloads to ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time
- Monitoring KPIs and using performance data to drive continuous improvement
- Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and warehouse processes
- Coaching and developing colleagues to maximise individual and team performance
- Ensuring Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed at all times
- Investigating operational challenges and implementing sustainable solutions
- Supporting reporting, performance analysis and departmental improvements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience leading teams within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience achieving operational KPIs and service levels
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and warehouse systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the confidence to make decisions
- Flexibility to work across rotating shift patterns
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or SAP
- Lean methodologies or Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) procedures
- Process improvement, productivity and operational efficiency projects
- Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
