The Back End Maintainer collaborates closely with supervision to ensure optimal manufacturing production levels.
Responsibilities:- Report to the Production Supervisor and perform assigned tasks following verbal instructions.
- Read and write, especially process forms and reports.
- Pass a Mechanical Aptitude Test.
- Perform mechanical tasks, adjust machines, and maintain quality standards.
- Knowledge of can operation and quality judgment (desired).
- Adhere to safety procedures and follow all JHAs and SOPs.
- Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Demonstrate problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Use basic hand tools and computer operations.
- Lift up to 50 pounds safely and keep the work area organized per 6S principles.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years of experience with computer skills in inspection, testing, packaging, or high-speed manufacturing.
- Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
- OSHA training in manufacturing.
- Experience in beverage packaging quality.
- Knowledge of AS400, QAS, and NWA systems.
- 6S training and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams, with leadership and motivation skills.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
Working Conditions:
- Regularly sit, stand, walk, and use hands; lift up to 50 pounds.
