Context
We are looking for a Platform Engineer to help shape and evolve an enterprise AI platform built on Azure AI Foundry and related Azure services.
This is a hands-on role combining Platform Engineering, Cloud, Dev Ops and Solution Architecture, with strong collaboration across Security, Integration and Enterprise Architecture teams.
Responsibilities
Own and coordinate the technical architecture of the AI platform.
Translate platform needs into scalable technical solutions.
Explore new Azure AI capabilities and build PoCs/prototypes.
Define architecture, integration patterns, networking and technical decisions.
Coordinate implementation across Cloud, Security, Dev Ops and Integration teams.
Support CI/CD, automation, developer tooling and platform improvements.
Manage the technical backlog and help remove cross-team blockers.
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
Solid background in Cloud, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure or Dev Ops.
Good knowledge of Azure networking, Entra Identity & Access Management.
Experience with Terraform and/or Bicep.
CI/CD experience with Azure Dev Ops and/or Git Hub Actions.
Understanding of API Management, enterprise cloud environments and Dev Ops practices.
Scripting experience with Python, Bash or Power Shell.
Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
Proactive, autonomous and comfortable working across multiple technical teams.
Nice to Have
Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI or Azure AI Search
Azure API Management
Databricks or Boomi
AI/LLM platform experience
Architecture Decision Records or Enterprise Architecture exposure
AWS/GCP background with the ability to transition quickly to Azure
Experience:
Typically 5+ years, though strong candidates with 3-5 years of relevant cloud/infrastructure experience may also be considered.
