PRACTICE SPECIFICS – On the Outpatient Side (roughly half-time)

- On the Outpatient side
Roughly 8 days of clinic, spread over 3 weeks
Broad Primary Care Practice
Multispecialty Clinic with support from specialist sand ancillary services
Clinic site has5 Family Physicians
No OB, but prenatal care is an option
Telephone call 1:26, peds call only
16-22 patients per day
This position is to prepare for anticipated retirements
- On the Inpatient side
Half-time Hospitalists work 1, 7-on shift, per month.
Day shift, only
Partner with existing Hospitalist Program of both full and half-time providers.
Schedule – 12 hours shifts with 2-3 weeks of nights; rest of the shifts are days.
Hospitalists will cover ICU, with consultative intensivist support.
Total number of physicians in specialty currently in department at practice site: 7. The practice is fully staffed with 8-9 hospitalists.
Average inpatient practice volume per day:
Med Surg-71 / ICU-10; divided between 3-4 rounding hospitalist, who also share admissions. Average daily census on unit: 50-60
REQUIREMENTS
Board Certified/Board Eligible - Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Current ACLS

Brainerd, MN – located at the center of Minnesota
125 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul

Regional service area: 115,000
COMPENSATION
- $300,317 - $337,000. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
