• Remote opportunity open to candidates residing in Minnesota or Wisconsin; also open to candidates wanting to work hybrid in specified locations.

• Opportunity to work on a wide variety of drinking water design and construction projects including water treatment plants, supply (wells and intakes), pump stations, and water storage tanks.
• Ability to support projects outside of the immediate region and collaborate with other teams throughout SEH.

• Support planning, design, and construction projects specializing in water treatment, supply, storage, and distribution.
• Work closely with clients and be heavily involved in pursuit of new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with multi‑discipline teams to deliver innovative project solutions.
• Interact with stakeholders before, during, and after project completion.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Minnesota or ability to achieve MN licensure within 6 months.
• Experience in municipal water planning, design, construction, project management, client services, and new business pursuits.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the state; occasional overnight travel.
• Proficient in Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.

• 5+ years of municipal water experience.
• Master’s Degree or related graduate degree.
• Experience with public water systems design.
• Membership in local, state, or national water societies.
• Familiarity with MN regional water issues and municipal government clients.
• Strong communication with clients, vendors, sub‑consultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Experience with project scoping, budgeting, and coordinating sub‑consultants.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Newforma or similar construction project info management platforms.

Base compensation: $108,000‑$140,000. Full benefits package available.

Due to current business and operational considerations, we are unable to hire employees residing in certain states. Candidates willing to relocate should indicate this.
