Job Schedule: Full time

Weekly Hours: 40.00

Salary Range: $22.50 - $36.00

Job Summary

Assists patients/residents/clients with therapy activities and exercises scheduled in a treatment plan, under the supervision of an occupational therapist, to improve their quality of life and ability to perform daily activities. Provides, monitors, and records therapy services for individuals with physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial impairments. Selects and modifies therapeutic activities to align with competency levels, goals, and setting requirements. Communicates progress and provides documentation to the occupational therapist, contributing to the achievement of targeted outcomes.

Follows professional guidelines and performs other related duties as needed.

Work may focus on post-acute, long-term care, or home health care environments depending on location and facility needs.

Qualifications
  • Appropriate education level per state licensure
  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state(s) of practice
  • Preferred:
    Certification through NBCOT (when working at Sanford Health Facility)
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of employment
