Essentia Health St. Josephs Medical Center has an opportunity for a casual/as needed Sonographer to work available workers on days, evenings, weekends and call shifts at the hospital and day shifts at the clinics in the Brainerd Lakes region.

Essentia Health requires casual employees to be available for at least 2 days per two‑week pay period. Our needs vary but flexibility and greater availability is preferred.

• Provide diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients for physician diagnosis, utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills.

Graduation from a Committee on Allied Health Education (CAHEA) accredited program in sonography and registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Registered by the ARDMS within 1 year of hire.

Must be certified in one of the following areas within 12 months:
Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Breast or Nuchal Translucency.

Compensation Range: $36.69 - $55.04
