Day to Day as a Plant SanitationAs a new Plant Sanitation team member you can expect a day‑to‑day schedule that revolves around maintaining a clean and safe manufacturing environment. Your day‑to‑day tasks include sanitizing equipment, floors, and work areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, monitoring cleaning supplies, reporting operational issues, and working closely with team members to identify and solve sanitation challenges.
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 6:00 AM‑2:30 PM.
- Take out garbage and empty pallets
- Clean and sanitize various pieces of equipment
- Work with a team to ensure our facility is clean
- Assist operators on start‑ups and shutdowns with removal of waste barrels and cleaning around equipment
- Operate forklift and floor scrubber to assist in cleanup of production floor
- Bail bags, boxes, and totes
- Additional cleaning/janitorial tasks as needed
• Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation of all equipment and work areas.
• Good problem‑solving abilities to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate tasks with team members.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new procedures and protocols.
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
