Essentia Health invites you to join our team of dedicated Registered Nurses in Brainerd and Baxter, Minnesota. As a member of our Med/Surg unit, you will provide comprehensive patient care in a community setting with a supportive and growth‑oriented culture.

$41.00/hr – $61.00/hr

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current nursing licensure in the state(s) of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month of hire.

• Lead patient care by organizing and delivering comprehensive care across all phases of the patient care process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Act as a team leader, delegating duties to nursing staff based on licensure, training, and role specifications.
• Advance the facility’s mission and goals, making a meaningful impact on the community served.
• Ensure compliance with standards set by the Joint Commission and other relevant regulatory agencies.
• Provide care for orthopedic post‑operative, fracture repair, post‑surgical, and medical overflow patients.

• Orthopedic post‑operative patients (knee, hip, shoulder replacements).
• Fracture and tendon/ligament repair cases.
• Post‑surgical care after back, neck, urological, abdominal, and ENT surgeries.
• Medical overflow patients requiring additional support beyond standard unit capacity.

• 60 hours per pay period.
• Rotating 12‑hour shifts.
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM.
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
• Every third weekend off.
