Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) – Brainerd, MN 56401

Join Hallmark Cards as a Field Merchandiser in Brainerd, MN. This part‑time role allows you to showcase your organization and time‑management skills while building retailer relationships and serving as the face of Hallmark.

Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations at local store teams. Occasionally you may work on other products from partner companies in the same stores.

Salary and Schedule Details
  • Starting pay: $14.75–$16.75 per hour (based on skills and experience)
  • Eligible for annual pay increases
  • Part‑time position with a variable schedule
  • Average weekly hours: 7‑9 hours
  • Availability required during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends
Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day engagement:
    Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark inventory inside and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Engage professionally with store staff, management, and customers. Responsible for all Hallmark product displays at assigned stores.
  • Holiday support:
    Support seasonal demand before and after holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May require work on the actual holiday, including weekends.
  • Department resets:
    Participate in installations and other tasks (building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, resetting sections) with advance notice of at least two weeks. May involve evenings or weekends.
  • Team support:
    Work as part of Hallmark’s field organization, supporting teammates as needed within your territory.
Physical Requirements

This physically demanding job requires the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will also kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the shift, and may climb stairs and step ladders.

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English
  • Able to lift & carry up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Can operate a handheld digital device for documents and data entry
  • Has Wi‑Fi and internet access
  • Has reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores
