We are growing our presence and are currently seeking a Territory Sales Representative – Industrial Services based in South Dakota or Minnesota, to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

Identify, interview, evaluate, and qualify potential clients. Diagnose business and technical challenges faced by prospects. Assist in developing and presenting proposals to clients. Lead efforts to secure signed contracts. Regularly visit clients to assess satisfaction and identify additional needs. Build industry knowledge, expertise, and a robust client network. Attend trade shows, conferences, and educational events. Conduct industry research and contribute to strategic direction setting.

Clearly communicate our value proposition to customers. Lead proposal teams by establishing a clear value proposition for the client. Maintain organized records of meetings, phone calls, and emails. Plan and organize sales calls and educational activities for clients and prospects. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Technology is preferred.

Experience

2-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably selling services. Experience in construction is a plus.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is $80,000‑100,000. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job‑related skills, training, education, and experience.

Location

This role is based in or near South Dakota and Minnesota (Office or Hybrid).

Travel

This role requires frequent travel 50‑75% across the Midwest for client and industry meetings.
