Salary:
Circa £26,000 per annum
Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a motivated and organised Office Administrator to join their friendly team in Braintree. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied administrative role, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and wants to build a long-term career within a successful and growing business.
The RoleAs the Office Administrator, you'll play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the office. Working closely with Sales, Technical and Operations teams, you'll ensure customers receive exceptional service.
Key Duties- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Preparing quotations and sales documentation.
- Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries.
- Attending to customer emails professionally and promptly.
- Providing administrative assistance to the Sales and Technical teams.
- Maintaining accurate customer records and filing systems.
- Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding orders and deliveries.
- Assisting with scheduling, documentation and general office administration.
- Liaising with the wider team on day-to-day operational tasks.
- Maintaining a professional, organised and welcoming office environment.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional and comfortable communicating with customers.
- Able to prioritise your workload and manage multiple tasks.
- Proactive, reliable and able to work on your own initiative.
- A supportive team player with a positive attitude.
- Previous experience in an office administration or customer service role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A willingness to learn and develop.
- Experience with in an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment.
- Experience using Sage or similar order processing software.
