Vehicle Technician

We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem solving to join our busy workshop team.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be working in a busy, multi-brand workshop environment, where you will be responsible for servicing, maintain and repairing motor vehicles to manufacturer standards. Quest is an exciting multi-brand opportunity, including Suzuki, Bosch, Vauxhall and Citroen Specialist. Quest (part of the SLM Group) takes pride in helping our employees to develop their knowledge through training opportunities, from EV to MOT training.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills to be able to work as part of the team. Previous main dealer experience is preferred.

Our Vehicle Technicians work Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with an hour unpaid lunch, and Saturday 8am to 12pm on a rotational basis (currently 1 in 3, with the option to work additional Saturdays).

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent.
• Knowledge of all makes and models preferable but not essential.
• Ability to complete motor vehicle repairs and routine maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team and ensure industry leading customer service.
• Accuracy in using our online VHC Video System.
• Flexible ‘can do’ attitude.
• Ability to use own initiative and work under minimum supervision.

• Carry out vehicle services and repairs to manufacturer standards
