Are you an experienced Head of Department for Design & Technology ready to lead a dynamic team and shape the creative future of students?

We're seeking a passionate Head of Department for Design & Technology to oversee Food, Graphics, Resistant Materials, and Textiles. You'll play a key role in driving curriculum innovation, improving outcomes, and ensuring students develop real-world skills through engaging, hands‑on learning.

• Lead and inspire a talented team across multiple D&T disciplines
• Develop an ambitious curriculum that nurtures creativity and technical confidence
• Support staff development and maintain high standards of teaching and learning
• Manage department resources and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or existing Head of Department for Design & Technology seeking a new challenge in a supportive, forward‑thinking environment.

• QTS and strong teaching experience in at least one D&T specialism
• Proven track record of raising achievement across KS3‑KS5
• Leadership experience or clear readiness for middle leadership
