Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding 1:1 role where you can make a real difference?

We are working with friendly and supportive schools across Braintree who are seeking dedicated LSAs to provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs. These roles suit someone patient, nurturing, and confident in supporting both learning and emotional wellbeing.

As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide tailored, individual support to a pupil with SEN or additional needs
• Support learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation
• Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs
• Help pupils build confidence, independence, and engagement
• Follow EHCP targets, safeguarding procedures, and school policies

• Previous experience as an LSA/TA, ideally within SEN or 1:1 settings
• A calm, empathetic, and supportive approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
• Reliability, professionalism, and adaptability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
