SEN Teacher - 1 Year Fixed-Term Maternity Cover

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time SEN Teacher to join a well-established and highly supportive special school on a 1-year fixed-term maternity cover contract
, starting in October 2026
. The school supports learners aged 3-19 with a range of needs including Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Autism
.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, personalised learning experiences that enable every learner to achieve their full potential. Working within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team, you will play a key role in creating a positive, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment.

- Maintains high expectations for themselves and their students
- Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the classroom
- Creates engaging, motivating, and enjoyable learning experiences
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
- Has experience working with children with SEN, either in a specialist or mainstream setting
- MPS + SEN Allowance
- Full-time, fixed-term contract (maternity cover)
