Estimator | Braintree | Up to £45,000

If you can read a drawing, produce accurate take-offs, and build pricing from first principles, this is an opportunity to join a specialist steelwork team delivering a diverse range of bespoke structural and special projects.

Working closely with commercial, engineering and operational teams, the Estimator will play a key role in preparing competitive tenders and helping secure future projects within a growing and well-established business.

As an Estimator, you ll prepare accurate quotations and tender submissions for steelwork enquiries, working from technical drawings and specifications to produce detailed take-offs and pricing models.

You ll collaborate with internal teams to ensure estimates are commercially competitive, support tender documentation and compliance requirements, and assist with the handover of successful projects to operational delivery teams.

• Experience as an Estimator or within structural steelwork, fabrication or construction estimating
• Ability to carry out take-offs directly from technical drawings
• Strong understanding of engineering and fabrication drawings
• Experience producing estimates from first principles
• Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Organised and proactive approach to work

• Up to £40,000
