The Role

We're looking for a skilled and experienced Paint Sprayer to join our busy bodyshop team. You'll be responsible for preparing and spraying vehicles to a premium finish, working with modern paint systems and equipment in a professional, well‑equipped environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare vehicles for paint application (masking, sanding, priming)
  • Mix and match paint to manufacturer specifications
  • Apply base coats, clear coats, and finishes using spray guns and booth equipment
  • Ensure a flawless, high‑quality finish on all vehicles
  • Work to job cards and timescales while maintaining quality standards
  • Conduct quality checks and address any defects or imperfections
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Work collaboratively with Panel Beaters, Technicians, and the wider team
What We're Looking For Essential:
  • Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer in an accident repair or bodyshop environment
  • Strong knowledge of paint systems, mixing, and application techniques
  • Ability to work with waterborne and solvent‑based paints
  • High attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent finishes
  • Ability to work efficiently to deadlines without compromising quality
  • Team player with a positive, professional attitude
Desirable:
  • ATA/IMI qualifications or equivalent
  • Experience with manufacturer paint systems and colour‑matching technology
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards in paint application
