An established electrical manufacturing business in Braintree is looking for an experienced Electrical Production Team Leader to oversee its electrical assembly operations.

We're looking for someone who understands electrical manufacturing, knows how to get the best out of a team and can keep production running efficiently.

You'll be responsible for coordinating the manufacture of low-voltage electrical distribution equipment, ensuring the team has the materials, information and support needed to deliver quality products on time.

This position would suit an experienced Electrical Assembly Supervisor, Panel Wiring Team Leader or Electrical Production Supervisor with a strong technical background.

The Role
  • Coordinate daily production activities across an electrical assembly workshop.
  • Lead a team of electrical assemblers and panel builders, allocating work and monitoring progress.
  • Ensure electrical distribution equipment is manufactured to the correct specifications.
  • Provide technical support with electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and assembly processes.
  • Oversee electrical inspection, testing and quality control procedures.
  • Resolve production issues, material shortages and workflow challenges.
  • Monitor productivity, workmanship and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain a safe, organised workshop and support improvements to manufacturing processes.
What You'll Need
  • Proven experience leading or supervising people within electrical manufacturing or panel assembly.
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical panel wiring, switch gear or low-voltage distribution equipment.
  • Experience organising production workloads and managing workshop priorities.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
  • Good knowledge of electrical testing, quality standards and safe working practices.
  • Confident communication and leadership skills, with a practical approach to problem-solving.

We're looking for someone who can take responsibility for day-to-day production, lead an experienced team and maintain high technical standards.

If you've built your career in electrical assembly or panel manufacturing and have experience leading people, we'd be keen to hear from you.
