Clark Wood, a specialist recruitment consultancy within the Public Practice Accountancy and Tax sectors, is seeking a part-qualified Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join a dynamic and forward‑thinking accountancy firm in Braintree, Essex.
This role offers exposure to a broad range of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships across various industries.
This represents an excellent opportunity to join a leading firm in Braintree which will provide a stable platform to progress into a senior accountant.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies
- Prepare accounts for sole traders and partnerships
- Prepare corporation tax returns and personal tax returns
- Assist in the planning and execution of audit assignments
- Conduct audit fieldwork and work closely with senior auditors to complete audits efficiently
- Provide support to clients on accounting and tax matters
- Part qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role within a practice environment
- Proficiency in preparing accounts and tax returns
- Experience in assisting with audit assignments
