Role ResponsibilitiesResidential Rehab Educators/Counselors assist clients experiencing behavioral health issues with:
- Goal setting and achievement
- Activities of daily living
- Engagement in meaningful activities
- Socialization and transportation
- Administration of medication
- Implementation of treatment plans for goal attainment and symptom management
- Development of independence and enhancement of quality of life
HS diploma or equivalent; coursework in psychology, human services, social work, health sciences toward an Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Qualifications- Previous experience working in the health and human services field and/or related education or training.
- Ongoing training and development provided by the organization.
- Patience and ability to interact with individuals with disabilities.
- Dependability, flexibility, and desire to help others.
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn to use an electronic health record system.
- Current valid driver’s license and safe driving record; access to a personal vehicle required at some sites.
- CPR, First Aid, and MAP certifications required.
Compensation based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications and licenses. Annual ranges listed are for a full‑time, 40 hours per week position.
Salary Range: $20 - $20 USD
