Granite Academy is a dynamic, strength‑based day school serving middle and high school students whose social‑emotional needs impact their learning experience. Granite Academy utilizes unique ARC (Attachment, Self‑Regulation and Competency) and BCC (Building Communities of Care) treatment frameworks that focus on building individual capacities for emotion regulation, personal strength and healthy relationships.
We are seeking a licensed and experienced Senior Clinician to step into a key leadership role within our therapeutic day school. This senior‑level position serves as the second‑in‑command to the Clinical Director and plays a pivotal role in the coordination and delivery of clinical services across the school community.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in adolescent mental health, excellent clinical judgment, and demonstrated leadership experience in a school‑based or treatment setting. CompensationThe pay range for this position is $50,000 to $75,000 per year
. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
- Serve as second‑in‑command in the clinical department, assuming leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Clinical Director.
- Carry a shared caseload and providing individual and group counseling.
- Serve as a clinical leader during crisis situations and in the absence of the Clinical Director.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical, academic, and administrative departments to ensure a cohesive and supportive therapeutic environment for all students.
- Oversee and support the development and implementation of group therapy curricula.
- Support and coach counselors/staff with creation of IEP goals, writing IEP progress reports, and preparing to present in IEP progress meetings.
- Take initiative on professional development, staff training, and cross‑departmental collaboration.
- Work together with all staff as a team to ensure compliance with regulations and standards established by the DESE and JRI.
- Function as a member of the Administrative Team, providing input into problem‑solving process design.
- Provide clinical leadership in all matters which address clinical issues.
- Provide strategic support to school‑wide programming.
