This well‑established, family‑run agency values collaboration, innovation, and professional growth, and they’re looking for someone who shares that mindset.
Here’s what sets the agency apart:- Family‑Owned and Operated: As they expand through growth and acquisition of other agencies, they remain proudly independent with no plans to sell to a large, national brokerage.
- Team‑Oriented Atmosphere: This experienced team values mutual support and collaboration.
- Career Growth is Encouraged: You’ll be supported in pursuing continuing education, licensing, and advanced industry training.
- Evolving Culture: Ideas and input from employees are welcomed to help build and sustain an environment where everyone feels valued.
- Manage a generalist book of select to mid market commercial insurance clients, ensuring retention and growth.
- Provide expert advice on commercial policies, including property, liability, workers' compensation, and more.
- Conduct policy reviews, recommend coverage options, and handle renewals and endorsements.
- Resolve complex client issues and claims efficiently.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities and cross‑sell additional products to existing clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters.
- Stay informed on market trends, carrier appetites, and regulatory updates
- 3+ years of experience in commercial lines account management.
- Proven success in managing and growing client accounts.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license
- In‑depth understanding of commercial property, casualty, and specialty lines
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple timelines effectively
- Must have a collaborative mentality
- Experience with EPIC is desirable, TAM is helpful
- Competitive base salary based on experience
- Performance‑based bonuses
- Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and retirement
- Ongoing professional development and training
- Hybrid work schedule
- Collaborative, supportive work culture where your expertise is valued
