Roving Recertification Specialist at Peabody Companies

Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Roving Recertification Specialist to support properties within our portfolio. The role rotates within a regional portfolio, working with site‑level staff to provide additional support for move‑in and annual recertifications, especially when new business or staff shortages arise.
Key responsibilities include processing and collecting resident information, determining eligibility for continued occupancy, processing interim certifications, ensuring accurate income, asset, and rent calculations, and maintaining program compliance.

- Determine eligibility for continued occupancy.
- Process interim certifications as needed.
- Ensure accurate calculation of income, assets, and rent levels.
- Collaborate with site staff to support move‑in and recertification workflows.
- Assist with coverage at sister sites as required.
- Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors or regional managers.
- Travel within the regional portfolio.
- 3+ years’ experience in property management.
- Knowledge of affordable housing, LIHTC, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to complete recertifications accurately and within established time frames.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in basic math and computer applications.
- Self‑motivated with initiative.
- Experience with One Site platform.
- Knowledge of LIHTC and Project‑Based Section 8; COS certification a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years related property‑management experience managing recertification processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with One Site.
- LIHTC and HUD/Section 8 experience required.
Annual salary: $75,000–$79,497.60, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, 401(k), STD, life insurance, Employee Assistance Programs, paid time off, holidays, training, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, referral bonuses, and flex spending.
