About The Role

• We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Freezer Order Picker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for pulling, packing, replenishing, and managing inventory for all frozen materials within our freezer storage area. Key responsibilities include operating both hand and power equipment (such as rider reach trucks, forklifts, power pallet jacks, and scan gun systems) to efficiently handle and store products.
  
  You will ensure proper product rotation and maintain a clean and organized work environment within the freezer. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in verifying the accuracy of inventory and order picking before shipment and assisting with monthly inventory counts.

What You'll Do

• This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager, and your key responsibilities will include:
• Receiving and accurately inventorying incoming products
• Picking and packing orders according to the release schedule
• Organizing, rotating, and verifying existing inventory to ensure accuracy and quality
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Operating the warehouse management system and handheld scan guns to track inventory and orders
• Safely operating manual or ride-on pallet jacks and forklifts to move products within the warehouse
• Using a reach truck to safely retrieve and replenish products as needed
• Communicating promptly with department leadership about any issues, such as damaged products, low inventory, or discrepancies in counts

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating ride-on pallet jacks and forklifts
• 3+ years of experience with reach truck operation
• 3+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment
• Experience working with racking systems and maximizing storage space
• Must be able to work a full day in below-freezing temperatures
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds
• Ability to work up to a 10-hour workday, standing and walking most of the day
• Requires motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
• Able to work in both wet and dry conditions
• Availability to work Monday-Friday, with weekends as needed

Pay Range

23 - 26 USD per hour (CFP)
