Senior Accountant – Finance Team

Join a leading construction firm as a Senior Accountant in Brampton, ON. This full-time role offers the chance to influence accounting processes and contribute to a growing finance team.

Your responsibilities will include managing full-cycle accounting, performing month-end close activities, and preparing journal entries under ASPE. As part of a newly created role, you will be key to building efficient processes and handling intercompany reconciliations in a multi-entity setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting across multiple entities

• Execute monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries

• Oversee intercompany reconciliations and invoicing

• Track CAPEX and OPEX costs, including fixed assets

• Prepare HST returns and regulatory filings

Requirements:

• 3 - 6 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong grounding in full-cycle accounting under ASPE

• Background in multi-entity environments

• CPA designation is strongly preferred

• Proficient in ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
