The role supports the National Order‑To‑Cash process by ensuring accurate and timely creation of client invoices in accordance with agreed‑upon Terms and Conditions and company financial policy and procedures.
Responsibilities
Preparing invoices, credits, and adjustments and ensuring accurate entry into the Financial Reporting system.
Conducting regular check‑ins with branches to confirm all billable goods and services are captured correctly.
Maintaining the billing system and keeping all related documentation organized.
Working closely with different teams and customers to resolve billing questions or issues promptly.
Identifying opportunities to streamline billing processes and suggest continuous improvement initiatives.
Reconciling error reports and monitoring data from internal and external systems.
Taking ownership of system setup, including onboarding new clients or patients and managing invoice submissions from start to finish.
Preparing and reviewing reports to support team needs.
Monitoring billing inboxes and responding to customer requests in a timely manner.
Ensuring compliance with internal policies, deadlines, audits, and month‑end close activities.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a billing or accounts receivable role.
Experience with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards.
Exposure to EDI, e‑billing, third‑party submissions, or medical/government billing is an asset.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in French and English is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially intermediate Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Analytical, detail‑oriented, and problem‑solving mindset.
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks.
Collaborative approach and ability to build relationships across teams.
Reliability, accountability, and willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
Familiarity with accounting principles, the full AR cycle, and concepts such as Proof of Delivery (POD) and Bills of Lading (BOL).
Benefits
This is an existing position with a starting salary of $55,000.00 per year.
