Position Summary:

Strategic Growth in a High-Impact Sector  A hands‑on accounting role in a growing, fast‑paced environment.
We are looking for an Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Coordinator / Junior Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This role combines day‑to‑day AP and AR responsibilities with junior bookkeeping tasks, supporting the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
This position is ideal for someone early in their accounting or bookkeeping career who is detail‑oriented, organized, and eager to grow their skill set in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities  Accounts Payable (AP)   Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in compliance with company policies
Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
Review vendor statements and follow up on outstanding issues
Maintain positive and professional relationships with vendors
Process weekly credit card payments
Reconcile corporate credit card accounts on a monthly basis
Accounts Receivable (AR)   Prepare and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain accurate customer account records
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment inquiries
Support follow‑up on outstanding receivables as required
Maintain accurate and complete financial records in the accounting system
Post and review journal entries under supervision
Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities
Support bank and general ledger reconciliations
Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records
Assist the Bookkeeping Supervisor with ad‑hoc reporting and accounting tasks
General & Team Support   Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure data accuracy
Identify and flag potential accounting discrepancies
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and Experience   Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping (relevant co‑op or internship experience considered)
Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles and general ledger accounting
Experience working with accounting software (experience with ERP systems is an asset)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general MS Office applications

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline‑driven environment
Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow professionally
Discrete and professional handling of confidential information
Full‑time, in‑office position based in Brampton, Ontario
Flexible start and end times within standard business hours
