Join Unilock in Georgetown, Ontario, as a Payroll Specialist, ensuring accurate biweekly payroll for around 300 employees. This role demands excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for effective payroll processing.
As a key member of the Admin Department, you will be the primary resource for payroll inquiries, offering support to both employees and management. Your responsibilities include maintaining payroll data within the Human Capital Management system and reconciling payroll-related accounts. A strong understanding of compliance with applicable regulations is crucial for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process biweekly payroll for 300 employees across locations
• Maintain payroll data and ensure compliance with legislation
• Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare journal entries
• Respond to inquiries and improve payroll processes
• Coordinate payroll taxes with third-party administrators
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Accounting or related field
• 10 years of payroll experience in Canada
• Experience with payroll systems, UKG is a strong asset
• Payroll designation (PCP/PLP) preferred
• Strong MS Office and intermediate Excel skills
