We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client's team, reporting directly to the Controller. This role will support both corporate and project accounting functions and play a key role in month-end processes, financial reporting, and operational support across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple entities
Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Maintain and reconcile fixed assets and depreciation schedules
Oversee inventory accounting and related reconciliations
Prepare and file HST returns
Support project accounting activities, including:
Monitoring project budgets
Performing variance analysis
Reviewing and analyzing project costs
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support financial reporting and resolve discrepancies
Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
