Experienced General Accountant

Join Metelix Products Inc. in Brampton, Ontario as an Experienced General Accountant. Utilize your accounting expertise with Epicor-CMS ERP and Canadian GAAP while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

This full-time role reports to the Financial Controller and encompasses Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and month-end procedures. You will manage cashbook updates, follow up on receivables, and assist in preparing financial statements. A focus on detail and organization is key in our fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update cashbook and post transactions in Epicor-CMS ERP

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries timely

• Run weekly aging reports on outstanding receivables

• Review AP cheque-runs for accuracy

• Assist with account analysis and ad-hoc queries

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years progressive accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Epicor-CMS ERP

• Attention to detail with excellent communication skills
