Full-Time Accountant - BCCL

Elevate your accounting career with Brampton Caledon Community Living (BCCL). As a full-time Accountant, you will ensure precise financial management for a community-focused organization supporting individuals with disabilities.

This role requires collaboration with the Director of Finance, focusing on comprehensive financial oversight and regulatory compliance. You’ll take charge of crucial tasks like month-end closings, financial report preparation, and maintaining accurate accounting records. Your expertise will uphold financial integrity and transparency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct month-end process and financial statement preparation

• Ensure compliance with monthly financial reporting

• Maintain records of all financial transactions

• Monitor AP/AR ledgers for efficient payment processes

• Assist Director of Finance with audits and policy development

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience

• CPA credential or pursuing it is a plus

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Sage 300, ADP WFN

• Strong analytical and communication skills
