Become a Staff Accountant with Vaco/Highspring, specializing in financial statements, bookkeeping, and tax preparation. This role is tailored for those in the Greater Toronto Area wanting to grow in public accounting.
This opportunity requires at least two years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong understanding of Canadian GAAP. Responsibilities will include the preparation of T1 and T2 tax documents, audit assistance, and effective client communications. Ideal for candidates pursuing CPA PEP, with Case Ware experience considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements
• Manage T1 and T2 tax preparation
• Provide essential support for audits
• Maintain client communications and file integrity
Requirements:
• 2+ years accounting experience in public accounting
• Solid understanding of Canadian GAAP
• Excellent organization and analytical skills
• Strong communication abilities
• Experience with Case Ware preferred
