Accounts Payable Coordinator - URGENT

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our client's team.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys working with numbers, is well organized and takes pride in getting things right. You will be responsible for the day-to-day accounts payable activities, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time.
Working closely with suppliers and internal teams, you will help keep the accounts payable function running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities   Receive, review and process supplier invoices.
Check invoices for accuracy and ensure the appropriate approvals are in place.
Match invoices against purchase orders and supporting documents.
Process supplier payments in a timely manner.
Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies.
Respond to supplier enquiries relating to invoices and payments.
Maintain accurate supplier records.
Assist with month-end activities and general accounts administration.
About You

– The Ideal Candidate   Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role.
Experience in the Logistics, Transport or Freight industry will be highly regarded.
Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Comfortable processing invoices and handling supplier queries.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
Able to manage deadlines and prioritise daily tasks.
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
