Position: Student-Focused Front Desk Clerk Role
Join the University of Guelph as a Front Desk Clerk, a pivotal role for supporting campus operations and student services at Ridgetown Campus. Work part-time with a focus on customer engagement and safety.

This 30-35 hour position involves rotating shifts, handling front desk operations, and providing essential student support. You'll manage social media presence, oversee housing and admissions processes, and ensure a welcoming environment. This role is critical for connecting students with campus resources and maintaining safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as initial point of contact for all inquiries

• Handle guest sign-ins and key requests

• Design promotional content for social media channels

• Oversee Star Rez applications and room assignments

• Manage emergency calls and dispatch responses

Requirements:

• Preferred one-year college diploma and relevant experience

• Exceptional communication and organization skills

• Proficiency with Star Rez, Adobe, and Office Suite

• Capacity to work independently under pressure

• Knowledge of access control systems is a plus
