Position: Detailer (AutoPlanet )

Here’s what you’ll deliver:

Perform detailing services that exceed customer’s needs.

Adhere to processes and procedures while administering professional cleaning chemicals to surfaces.

Advanced ability to operate automatic and manual vehicles as required.

Execute the washing, waxing, and buffing of vehicles to company standards.

Clean vehicle windows inside and out, while considering the proper cleaning products when tinting agents have been applied to windows.

Initiate visual inspections of the interior and exterior of the vehicle once all tasks are completed to ensure that the product meets customer and company standards.

Organize cleaning tools and equipment to maintain a clean work station.

Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.

Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures.

Other duties as required by management.

What you need to succeed:

High School Diploma is required.

Minimum 1 year of automotive detailer experience is preferred.

Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision.

Capable of working in a collaborative environment while providing a positive attitude.

Must have a valid Ontario Class ‘G’ driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.

May be required to work on Saturday as per business needs.

Experience in detailing vehicles using professional cleaning chemicals.

Experienced in all aspects of vehicle reconditioning.

Experience in buffing vehicles.

Ability to utilize power tools while maintaining safety practices and procedures.

Ability to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule.

*** This compensation range will be based on knowledge and experience***

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent Compensation (expected flat hourly rate):$18.00 - $18.50 per hour under our skilled trades flat-rate (piece work) compensation plan.

Expected annual earnings:$43,000 - 55,000
per year, based on historical earnings at this location and typical productivity; actual earnings vary based on individual output and service department repair order volumes.
