We are seeking a Diagnostic Technician with experience in automotive repair. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex engine performance, emissions, fuel system, ignition, and electronic issues. This specialist role focuses on driveability concerns, advanced diagnostics and resolving intermittent or difficult to duplicate performance issues. This role may require flexibility in schedule, including overtime (evenings or Saturday shifts) based on production requirements.

- Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles following OEM guidelines and safety standards.
- Conduct inspections, identify repair needs, and provide accurate documentation for repair orders.
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical and electronic issues.
- Diagnose driveability concerns.
- Perform detailed inspections and testing of fuel systems, ignition systems, sensors, emissions components, and control modules.
- May assist in pre and post sale inspection process
- May assist with sourcing & providing quotes to customers
- May assist with completing work orders including parts & labor entries
- 5+ years of experience as a Licensed Automotive Service Technician
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills with electrical and mechanical systems
- Advanced diagnostic experience with engine performance, emissions, driveability, and electronic control systems.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a positive and skilled attitude
- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician (310S in Ontario) an asset
- License to complete Motor Vehicle Inspections (MVI) an asset
- 5-10 years experience in automotive service
- Familiarity with OPENLANE systems, including Portal, AMS, VTrace, an asset
Hourly: $37.17 - $48.33 CAD
(Depending on experience, skill set, qualifications, and other relevant factors.)
