Northfleet Group Inc. seeks a health and safety professional dedicated to enhancing project safety. With a focus on industrial, commercial, and institutional projects, you’ll assist in managing the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, conduct field inspections, and support teams on various HSE initiatives.
Your role emphasizes fostering a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer the Occupational Health and Safety Management System
• Conduct field safety inspections and toolbox talks
• Investigate incidents and complete related documentation
• Facilitate ongoing training programs, including New Employee Orientation
• Monitor compliance of workers and subcontractors
Requirements:
• 1-2 years HSE experience in Ontario
• Background in the construction industry
• Post-secondary diploma or degree required
• Strong knowledge of OHSA regulations
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office
