Plumbing Plans Examiner

As a crucial member of the Planning, Building & Growth Management department, you will evaluate residential, commercial, and industrial project plans.

Your role will involve liaising with architects, engineers, and contractors while ensuring adherence to the Ontario Building Code. Bring your expertise to support technical policies and provide vital feedback on project plans and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review plumbing plans for code compliance

• Liaise with design professionals and contractors

• Assess technical documentation for standards

• Recommend measures for compliance

• Maintain current knowledge of building regulations

Requirements:

• Over four years of relevant experience

• High school diploma plus two to three years in Civil Engineering Technology

• Completion of provincial qualification exams

• Plumbing Certificate of Qualification preferred

• Registration of Building Code Identification Number
