In this full-time position, you will perform thorough reviews of construction plans, ensuring they meet Ontario Building Code requirements. Collaborate with professionals in the field and provide assessments to ensure technical documentation is correct. Utilize your expertise to resolve project issues and recommend necessary modifications for compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct plans review for various construction types
• Work with architects, builders, and developers
• Provide preliminary assessments of project documentation
• Collaborate with building inspectors on compliance
• Maintain a permit tracking system
Requirements:
• Four to eight years of practical experience
• Civil Engineering Technology education or equivalent
• Completion of provincial examinations within specified timelines
• Preferred Plumbing Certificate of Qualification
• Registered Building Code Identification Number
Contribute to safety in construction by ensuring plumbing compliance with the City of Brampton.
