Health and Safety Manager Construction

In this role, you will partner with project managers and site supervisors to enforce health and safety standards across construction projects. Key tasks involve conducting site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety meetings while promoting a culture of safety awareness. Your expertise in Ontario's health and safety legislation will be invaluable for delivering effective risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform site inspections and safety audits regularly
• Identify and mitigate unsafe conditions on-site
• Manage compliance with safety regulations
• Lead safety orientations and training sessions
• Monitor high-risk construction activities effectively
Requirements:
• Education in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
• Over two years of health and safety experience in construction
• Deep knowledge of Ontario safety legislation
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable vehicle
